Navratra Festival: CRPF Jawans welcome Prabhat Pheri

An impressive Prabhat Pheri, morning march, was taken out from Bus Stand Katra, as part of ongoing Navratra Festival, today.Hundreds of devotees from Katra and  pilgrims from all parts of the country joined the Prabhat Pheri. Singing and dancing on devotional songs, the devotees marched throughout the holy town.Starting from  Panthal Road the prabhat pheri ended at Raghunath Temple and was greeted by jawans of 6th Battalion of CRPF. Prasad was also offered to the devotees.The Chief  Guest and CMO Udhampur, KC Dogra flagged off the prabhat pheri in presence of President Senior Citizen Forum, Shiv Kumar Sharma; BMO Katra, Gopal Dutt and  Babu Ram Dubey.A group of devotees from Maharashtra, under the leadership of Neelkhand Shinde led the Prabhat Pheri. Representatives from Regional Outreach  Bureau hailing from Assam, Rajasthan and J&K led by Durga Prasad also took part in the march. “Let us dedicate ourselves to the service & welfare of the needy people  & perform our duties without thinking about rewards, good results will definitely follow after right actions”, said the Chief Guest. The chairman of Prabhat Pheri Committee  also thanked Municipal Committee Katra for their efforts to keep the town clean despite huge number of pilgrims frequenting the town.It is pertinent to mention that  parbhat pheri is being organised daily jointly by JK Tourism, SMVD Shrine Board and district administration Reasi.Among others present at the prabhat pheri included  Ajay Sharma, RS Manhas, Mubarikh Singh, Karan Gupta, Ramnik Nawada, Rakesh Dubey, Raj Kumar Mengi, Sanjay Arora, Babu Ram, Rattan Sharma, Vijay Kumar,  Sardari Lal, Mangat Sharma, Rattan Chand, Baldev Kumar, Renu Ji Dhar, Vimal Sharma, PN Kaul, Karnail Singh, Virender Matto, Arun Kotwal, Rajinder Singh and  others.
