The meeting of the Sub-Committee of Board of Directors of Shimla Smart City Limited (SSCL) was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi.The Chief Secretary reviewed the status of works being done under Shimla smart city project and also held discussion about the future course of work. He directed the authorities to prepare a plan for projects amounting up to Rs. 250 crore and propose it to board for approval at the earliest so that the bids could be invited by SSCL immediately.He also directed the authorities to speed up the works of Smart City project and approved the proposed human resource for various posts in the meeting.Later, he reviewed the component wise progress status report of AMRUT and expressed contentment on development works carried out in Shimla under the scheme. ACS Industries Manoj Kumar, Principal Secretary Probodh Saxena, Secretary Town and Country Planning and Urban Development C. Paulrasu, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Shimla Pankaj Rai and other senior officers of Municipal Corporation were also present in the meeting.
