Punjab Vigilance Bureau, today nabbed an Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) posted at Sangrur red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 25000/-. Disclosing this  here an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said ADO Jaskanwal Singh was nabbed red handed on the complaint of Amrik Singh of village Katron in district  Sangrur. The complainant has approached the VB and alleged that the accused ADO was demanding Rs 30,000 for giving approval to transfer his pesticides license in  his brother’s name and the deal was struck at Rs. 25,000/-.After verifying his information, the vigilance team laid a trap and the accused ADO was arrested on the spot  while taking bribe of Rs. 25000 from the complainant in the presence of two official witnesses. He informed that a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been  registered against the accused VB police station Patiala and further investigation was under progress.
