A delegation of the Rice Millers Association (Pb.) called on the Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Mrs. Anindita Mitra here today at Anaj Bhawan in  Sector-39.Disclosing this, an official spokesperson of the government said that the delegation expressed its gratitude to the Director for undertaking novel initiatives  under the guidance of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu, aimed at the welfare of the rice millers of Punjab.The delegation  members also apprised the Director of their various demands and presented a memorandum to that effect to the Director who gave them a very patient hearing and  assured them of taking these up with the minister for early redressal.The delegation included President of the Rice Millers Association Mr. Gian Chand Bhardwaj, Senior  President Mr. Sat Parkash Goyal, Vice President Mr. Balwinder Singh, General Secretary Mr. Ashwani Kumar, President Samana Unit Mr. Aman Panjrath, President  Sunam Unit Mr. Rajnish Kansal, Mr. Harpreet Singh Dhillon, Mr. Parveen Jain from Jalandhar, Mr. Jai Pal Goyal, President Jagraon Unit Mr. Ankur, Mr. Rohit Garg and  Mr. Monkush Aggarwal.
