Ram Subhag Singh chairs meeting for preparation of "Rising Himachal" GIM

In a review meeting held here today chaired by Additional Chief Secretary,(ACS) Ram Subhag Singh, a chart was devised for  organising mega cultural event on 7th November, 2019 on the day of ‘Rising Himachal’ Global Investors Meet (GIM) to be held at Dharamshala.Sh. Subhag stressed for showcasing the cultural heritage and traditions of the State through best of the cultural troupes. He directed the officers of Language Art and Culture department, to hire best cultural teams from Sirmaur, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu districts for making event a success in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi was likely to participate. The Tibetan Institution of Performing Arts (TIPA) will also be requested for displaying the Tibetan culture on this historic event. Apart from this, Karnail Rana, the Himachali Folk Singer will also be a part of the event, said the ACS. He said that efforts would be done to call Bollywood play back Singer, Mohit Chauhan, who hails from the State for the event.He directed for checking full dress rehearsal on 6th November,2019 a day prior to the launch of GIM.It is pertinent to mention here that the 'Rising Himachal Investors Meet' was being organized at Dharamshala on 7th and 8th November this year to attract investors on a large scale. The officers of LAC department said that ‘Trigarta’ festival would be also organised in different regions of Kangra from 1st to 8th November.Senior officers of LAC and Tourism department were also present on the occasion.
