Punjab Police officers, family members and well-wishers on Sunday paid their rich tributes to late DGP C.S.R. Reddy in a prayer meeting held at Punjab Police Officers Institute, Chandigarh.Recalling his dedicated services in the State during the condolences meeting, DGP Punjab Dinkar Gupta said Reddy was an outstanding police officer who made a rich contribution in the fight against terrorism in Punjab. “He was a wonderful human being and his humane and helpful nature would be remembered everlasting”, he added.Referring to CSR Reddy as a synonym of determination and dedication, DGP said "Reddy was a fearless officer who had performed many challenging tasks during the period of emergency in Punjab and stood with the common people in their difficult times. His absence will never be forgotten with time, he added.His daughter Sheuti Reddy said “I saw him learning all the time and he always reach out to help others. He was a visionary in sports and a huge beliver of women empowerment”.In this prayer meeting senior Punjab police officers, besides family and friends paid homage to the departed soul.
