District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan, today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of various centrally-sponsored schemes in the district.The meeting was attended by ADDC, Shafqat Iqbal, CPO, Anika Mushtaq, District Agriculture Officer, District Horticulture Officer, Assistant Director Employment, Assistant Commissioner Labour and other concerned officials.A detailed discussion was held on various schemes being implemented in the district like Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISSN), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan (PM-SYM) and other welfare programmes during the meeting.Various aspects of these schemes like uploading of beneficiaries’ data, preparation of list of exclusive categories, activation of beneficiaries accounts, collection of Data and organization of camps etc was also deliberated upon.On the occasion, DDC Ganderbal directed the officers to gear up their men and machinery to expedite the process for effective implementation of these schemes at grass root level.The DDC stressed on concerned departments including Employment and Labour to complete the list of construction workers expeditiously so that no genuine worker is left out of the ambit of welfare schemes.He also asked the concerned officials to finalize and certify the final beneficiary list at an earliest so that the entitled benefits are speedily transferred to the beneficiaries.While reviewing progress of Ayushman Bharat, the DDC stressed the concerned to issue the Golden Cards to all beneficiaries whose details are already verified. He also directed the concerned to acquaint the general public about the silent features of various welfare schemes so that the marginalized and poor can avail their benefits.
