Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma today chaired a meeting of Deputy Commissioners and heads of key departments to review the progress of work on projects under execution in Jammu Division.The meeting was attended by Director Rural Development Department, Sudarshan Kumar, Chief Engineer PWD, Nasir Goni, Chief Engineer M&RE, Sudhir Gupta, Director Urban Local Bodies, Virji Hangloo, besides Engineers of PHE, PDD other concerned, while Deputy Commissioners along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing.The Div Com reviewed project wise status of all works under execution by various departments. He also reviewed the work progress of languishing projects.The executing agencies apprised the Div Com about the progress and timeline of the projects.
The DCs apprised the Div Com of status of ongoing works in their respective districts.It was informed that maximum works are in progress while work on some others is hampering due to some technical reasons. The Div Com asked the concerned officers to send work progress reports timely. He further asked for removing bottlenecks and expediting the pace of work on all developmental Works.
