BJP Chandigarh is determined to leave no stone unturned for reaching the goal of 1.25 lakh new members during the ongoing national membership drive.The party has been organizing camps across the city to reach the Chandigarh its but went a step ahead by organizing a camp at Chandigarh's man made wonder Sukhna Lake to attract the tourists as well. A camp was setup at the ending point of Sukhna Lake which witnessed party's state president Sanjay Tandon himself enrolling the tourist by filling up the enrolment forms along with state membership drive convener Ramveer Bhatti, State General Secretary Prem Kaushik, Distt President Jatinder Malhotra & Shakti Prakash Devshali, Councillor Jagtar Singh, Anup Gupta, Narender Lubana, Varinder Singh, Sanjay Puri, Deepak Uniyal, Mahesh Inder Sidhu, Avnish Bansal Etc also present.Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said that the ongoing membership drive that started on July 6 will run till 11th August, under which such camps will be organised in villages, colonies etc. to making it easier for the people to join the party based on a shared ideology. The party has also instructed all the district, mandal, morcha & heads of various cells to reach out to every individual via these camps. He further talked about the achievement so far and credited the same to enthusiastic party members, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President Amit Shah, Executive President J P Nadda and the leadership at the centre and expressed his gratitude towards the citizens of Chandigarh for strengthening the organization by joining the party.Talking about the camp at Sukhna Lake Bhatti said that hundreds of people have proudly joined the party today and looking at the enthusiasm expressed by the people he believes that party will achieve the eventual goal soon.
