The delegation led by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had one to one meeting with Captains of the industries at Dubai in United Arab Emirate (UAE) to woo the investors to invest in Himachal Pradesh.The delegation had meetings with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aujan Holdings Kanishka Gupta. The Company has expertise of over 100 years in dealing with beverages especially fruit juices. They had detailed discussions on procurement of apple concentrate from the State and possibilities of investment opportunities in hotel industry, ‘can’ manufacturing and options for tie up with HPMC. It was discussed that a combined visit to Prashar lake can be planned with prime focus on eco tourism.Another meeting was held with Aaditya Sarna Managing Director, Economic Clusters, United World Infrastructure who expressed keen interest in developing Smart City and Destination in the State. The State Government suggested that Rajgarh area in Sirmaur district can be developed for Destination development with facilities like theme park, Himachali handicraft and food joints etc.Chairman and Managing Director ERAM Group Dr. Siddeek Ahmed had one to one meeting with delegation. The Group envisaged interest in investment in tourism sector and wellness field.The delegation later had one to one meeting with Nandi Vardhan Mehta, Head of Finance, KAAF Investments engaged in global investments in various sectors and have started investing in India from last year. KAAF is exploring investment opportunities in large and stable economy like India. Delegation of the state suggested that KAAF can tie-up with various companies which have already invested or are looking at investments in India.The Chief Minister invited the entrepreneurs to participate in Global Investors Meet being organized by the State Government at Dharamshala during the month of November this year.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Manoj Kumar and Ram Subhag Singh, Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma, Special Secretary Abid Hussain Sadiq, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Singh, representatives of CII Himachal Pradesh were also present on the occasion among others.
