The meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.The Authority approved 12 proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approximately Rs. 227.79 crore and employment potential of about 1220 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract investment despite overall slowdown in the economy.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Dev Bhumi Cold Chain Pvt. Ltd. Unit-2, Theog, Shimla for manufacturing of apple puree and mixed with other puree etc., M/s Steelking Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., IA- Sansarpur Terrace, Kangra for manufacturing of empty LPG cylinders, M/s Globe Precision Industries Pvt. Limited, Kaundi, Baddi, Solan for manufacturing of auto components parts, M/s Red Metal Concast Pvt. Ltd., Vill. Surajpur, Tehsil Indora, Distt. Kangra for manufacturing of mild steel, TMT Bar, M/s Jain Plastics and Packaging, VPO Bathri, Tehsil Haroli, Distt. Una for manufacturing of plastic dana, plastic sheet/film, M/s Prime Steel Industries Private Limited, Bated, Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of MS billet, TMT bar, angle, channel and M/s Madan Bhargav Industries Private Limited, Kandrori, Kangra  for manufacturing of shotguns, pistols and revolver have been approved.The Authority also approved expansion proposals of  M/s Deepak International Ltd., Industrial Area, Phase-III, Sansarpur Terrace, Kangra for manufacturing of lead acid batteries, M/s Theon Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Village Saini Majra, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan (H.P.) for manufacturing of tablets, capsules, dry syrup, injectables, ointments, sachets, M/s Rajshree Fabrics, Vill. Rampur Jattan, Tehsil Nahan, Distt. Sirmour for manufacturing of spunbond non woven fabrics, non woven fabric bags etc., M/s Acme Formulations Private Limited, Ghogharwal, Nalagarh, Solan for manufacturing of capsules, tablets and M/s Legacy Foods Pvt. Limited, Suraj Majra Labana, Baddi, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of malt based food products Horlicks, Boosts have been approved.Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary B.K. Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar, Labour Commissioner S.S. Guleria, Secretary GAD Dr. R.N. Batta, MD HPSEB Ltd. Er. J.P. Kalta and other senior officers were present in the meeting among other.
