Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at New Delhi on Saturday. He congratulated him on assuming the charge of the Ministry and massive victory of the party in Lok Sabha elections.The Chief Minister requested for according tribal status to Hati community in Trans-Giri area of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh so that they could be brought into the mainstream and more development opportunities could be provided to them.He also requested for one Woman IRB battalion for the state.Amit Shah heard the demands patiently and assured to consider them.Chief Secretary B K Agarwal was also present on this occasion.
