Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur met Union Human resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank at New Delhi on Friday evening.The Chief Minister congratulated him on assuming the charge of the Union Ministry and conveyed his good wishes. He discussed various issues pertaining to the state.Jai Ram Thakur requested for opening up Kendriya Vidyalaya and one more central university in the state to promote quality education in the state.The Union HRD Minister assured that all possible help would be provided to Himachal Pradesh.The Chief Minister later also met Union Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad and congratulated him on assuming the charge of the Ministry.He also discussed about various issues pertaining to the state.Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal and Principal Private Secretary to the CM Vinay Singh were also present on this occasion.
