Newly elected Member of Parliament from Shimla constituency Suresh Kashyap along with Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Rajiv Bindal, BJP State President Satpal Singh Satti, delegation of BJP Mandals from Nahan, Renukaji, Pachhad, Poanta Sahib, Shillai and Theog called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at his official residence Oak Over here today.Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that an effort of BJP leaders and workers all around country has resulted in a massive victory during this Lok Sabha election by getting 303 seats. He appreciated people of State for coming in large number to vote. He said that the largest percentage of voting has been recorded this time from the State out of which 70 percent votes went for BJP candidates. He said that with the miraculous leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi we have been able to win all four seats from the State for the second time. He thanked the delegation from various parts of the State to show their support in the Lok Sabha elections. He urged people to work together in the development of the State. He assured the people that Government would match their aspirations and expectations.
The delegation came to the Oak Over amidst traditional music and fervour to congratulate and honour Chief Minister on historical victory of the four seats in Lok Sabha elections from the State.MP Suresh Kashyap congratulated Chief Minister on victory in Lok Sabha elections in the State as well in the country. He honoured the Chief Minister with himachali cap and shawl. He appreciated the efforts of all the party workers during elections.State BJP President Satpal Satti congratulated Chief Minister for incredible win in Lok Sabha elections and also congratulated MP Suresh Kashyap for his win from Shimla Lok Sabha constituency. He also appreciated contribution of senior BJP leaders Shanta Kumar, Prem Kumar Dhumal and other party workers on this historic win.MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary, BJP organising Secretary Pawan Rana, Vice Chairman State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Baldev Tomar, Chairman H.P Marketing Board Baldev Bhandari and other BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.
