Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) general secretary and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said the Congress party was conspiring with anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh forces including ‘Sarkari Babas, AAP, PEP and so called Taksalis to disturb peace and communal harmony in Punjab with funds being released from 10, Janpath Delhi for the same. He urged Punjabis to be vigilant about the nefarious designs of these forces.During a press conference, S Majithia presented Bhai Gurnam Singh and sarpanch Swaran Singh of village Saide Ke Rohela, close-aides of Sarkari Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand, before the media, who disclosed the conspiracy behind the Bargari Morcha. They said both Mand and Daduwal were being paid by the Congress for creating an atmosphere of terror and fear in the state. They said the Bargari morcha was started and concluded at the behest of the Congress party which had taken care of all the expenses incurred during the morcha.

They said money coming from overseas also became a bone of contention between Mand and Daduwal. Speaking on this occasion, S. Majithia said the SAD would not let the Congress party succeed in pushing the state back into the dark era of violence and terror with its nefarious designs of creating communal disharmony through its paid stooges. He said Sarkari Babas Dhian Singh Mand and Baljit Singh Daduwal had developed close rapport with the Gandhi family. “Actually they are helping the Congress in diverting people’s attention from the failures of the state government by raising a bogey of non-issues and pretending to protect the interests of Sikhs. They are playing with the religious sentiments of the people just to help the Congress in achieving its petty political gains. They are regularly funded to keep showing black flags to SAD leadership” , they added EOM
