Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the five year's term of the Modi government has been better than six decades tenure of the Congress governments and this fact has been well accepted by the people of the country. He was addressing an election rally in favour of the BJP candidate Kishan Kapoor at Chadhiyar under Baijnath Assembly constituency of district Kangra today.The Chief Minister said that Congress workers are not able to mention much about the Rahul Gandhi because they are well aware of his leadership capacity and inexperience. The people of the country are aware of Rahul Gandhi's political immaturity in and outside the Parliament and also know that he has not done anything for the sake of the country so far. He said that in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has an experienced leadership which has taken many commendable and far-sighted steps in the interest of the nation.Jai Ram Thakur said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the foundation of a developed country has been laid and in the next five years, India will become the world's leading nation.
The BJP is getting huge support from across the country and seeing this, the Congress leaders are in panic. He said that the leaders of the Opposition are trying to mislead people after seeing their defeat.The Chief Minister said that the people have decided that Narendra Modi will be given heavy mandate for Prime Minister again as the central government has made unprecedented development in every sphere, which has set the platform for the emergence of a new India. Apart from this, the Modi Government has started many welfare schemes for the workers, the elderly, women, youth and all sections.He said that the BJP governments of the Centre and State have started many welfare and ambitious schemes for women upliftment and empowerment. He said that the Ujjawala scheme the central government and the Grihini Suvidha scheme and Gudiya Helpline etc. are major among them.Jai Ram Thakur said that Kishan Kapoor, the BJP candidate from Kangra-Chamba parliamentary constituency, is an experienced and honest leader. He is well-acquainted with the aspirations of the people and will be successful in raising public voice effectively in the Parliament.The Chief Minister urged the people of the area to give the BJP a historic lead from the Baijnath Vidhan Sabha constituency.
