Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the previous congress government of the state claimed of overall and equitable development but the ground reality is entirely different  which can be seen in every corner. He was addressing an election rally at Ronhat in Shilai Assembly constituency of Sirmaur district today.The Chief Minister said that Congress  government in last year of its term tried to mislead the people by making various announcements and laying foundation stones of various developmental works without any  budgetary provisions. But the people of the state knew the reality of the Congress government and gave it a suitable reply in the previous elections.He said that the present BJP  government in the state has committed itself to the service of the people with honesty and crores of rupees have been given for ensuring development of every Assembly  segment during last one and a half year. He said the BJP believes in doing what it promises and the state government has fulfilled all announcements made before the Assembly  elections.

The Chief Minister said that the Congress governments ruled the country for around six decades but instead of development, it preferred scams and corruption. On the other  hand, the BJP government did historic works during last five years and crores of families are taking benefits of the schemes launched by the Modi government.He urged the  people to support the BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap so that the speedy development of the area could be ensured.Later, while addressing another election rally at Paonta  Sahinb, the Chief Minister said that the BJP is getting enormous support during these elections and it is clear that the party is going to win the elections with big margin. He said  that the Congress leaders are in a state of shock after seeing the achievements and popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and are giving irrelevant statements to mislead  the people.Jai Ram Thakur said that PM Narendra Modi has given soaps worth thousands of crores for various developmental works in Himachal Pradesh and the people of state  would strengthen him by making the BJP victorious on all the four Lok Sabha seats.
