Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today said the Opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi are seeing the dream to become Prime Minister of the country and in a democratic set up, everyone has a right to see any dream. But, the fact is that after five-phase elections, they are struggling not to be the Prime Minister but to become the leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. The people of the country have clearly made up their mind to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again and the Opposition leaders have admitted that their Mahagathbandhan will not reach around to form the coalition government.Jai Ram Thakur said that in the previous Lok Sabha elections with the BSP could not open its account, Samajwadi Party had five MPs, TMC 34 MPs and Congress won only 44 seats and it is ridiculous that now the leaders of these parties are again dreaming to become the Prime Minister. The reality is that this Mahagathbandhan is going to last till May 23 and after that the leaders of the Opposition would start fighting for the post of leader of the Opposition. He said that the Opposition has no vision on issues related to the country's development and national security.
In the last five years, the Modi government started various schemes for the most vulnerable sections of the society and the outcomes of these efforts are visible. However, the opposition wants to create hindrance in implementation of these schemes without realising that if the Ujjwala scheme is stopped then the women of poor families will again struggle for fuel. If the Ayushman India scheme is closed, then how the poor will get free treatments up to five lakh rupees. Even the Opposition wants to remove the provision of reservation in employment and education for economically weaker sections of the general category. The Chief Minister said that the leaders of the Opposition are against strict action against Pakistan and terrorists. These people question the power of the country's army and seek proof of surgical strikes and air attacks on Pakistan. The same leader raises questions about the human rights of anti-nationals like Afzal Guru, Yakub Menon and other Kashmiri terrorists but the people can never afford to put such political parties in power.Jai Ram Thakur said that by ensuring victory of BJO on all the four parliamentary seats in Himachal Pradesh, the people will contribute to making Narendra Modi Prime Minister again. The financial assistance being given to Himachal by the Modi government is important for the development of the state. Therefore, a single vote given to BJP will strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi.
