Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that during the 10 years of Congress government's tenure, the country continued to crave for development as they had neither a leadership  nor any strong policy. He was addressing an election rally organized in Churah Assembly segment of District Chamba, today.He said that the former Congress government ruled  for many years but instead of working for the development of the country, it remained engaged corrupt practices and looted lakhs of crores of rupees. It was after the formation of  Modi government that the people of felt that the country is now developing and fast moving forward without any discrimination. He said that under the dynamic leadership of  Narendra Modi, the country has emerged as a strong nation and the public is well aware that the India will remain strong only in his safe hands.Jai Ram Thakur said that  Congress has no concern for the nation's interest but it can go to any extent to gain power. The Congress leaders are even making issue of caste of the Prime Minister which  reflects the party's impatience for power. 

He said that Congress also wants to keep the security of the country at stake because its only goal is to come to power but the people of the country are well aware of selfish  interests of the Congress and they know which party is can serve them and the country better.The Chief Minister said that BJP will win with a huge majority in the Lok Sabha  elections and the BJP's candidates will be victorious on all the four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh. He said that the so-called giant leaders of the Congress were not even  ready to fight elections due the fear of the Modi wave. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved thousands of crores of rupees for the development of Himachal, which  has helper in accelerating pace of development in the state. He said that BJP candidate Kishen Kapoor is an experienced and honest leader and he is always ready to work for  the welfare of the people. The public has special affection from Kishan Kapoor and expressed confidence that BJP will win Kangra parliamentary constituency with huge margin.  Today hundreds of people left the Congress in the presence of the Chief Minister in Churah and joined the BJP. Jai Ram Thakur welcomed all the members who joined the party.
