Barnala DC felicitates Khushboo, Gautam for clearing civil services exam

Deputy Commissioner Barnala Tej Partap Singh Phoolka along with other administrative officials felicitated Khushboo Gupta and Gautam Goyal for successfully clearing the civil services final examination 2018. Hailing from a small town Bhadaur of Barnala district, Khushboo has secured 80th rank while her cousin Gautam has cleared the examination with 223rd rank.While lauding the efforts of Khushboo and Gautam, DC Tej Partap Singh Phoolka said that hard work and dedication is the key to success and both of them has set an example for others. He added that the achievement would also inspire other students of Barnala to achieve their goal in the future.DC said that the district administration would also appoint Khushboo as brand ambassador of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme in Barnala district. He added that a graffiti art would also be dedicated to her to inspire the district residents to educate their girl children without any discrimination.Mr. Phoolka also congratulated the family members and appealed both of them to always work hard for the betterment and upliftment of the society.On this occasion, SSP Harjit Singh, ADC (G) Ruhee Dugg, SDM Barnala Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Karamjit Singh, Khushboo’s father Vipan Gupta, mother Manju Bala among various others were also present.
