Intensifying the poll campaign for the Kathua Udhampur parliamentary seat Ch Lal Singh today organized a series of Meeting in Ramnagar, Udhampur and Chenani. Ch Lal Singh while addressing the gathering said that the people of Jammu suffered only because of the wrong policies of the centre and state. He said that the people of Jammu suffered because of terrorism which was only in few districts of Kashmir supported by the separatist and some political persons. But the centre government went on appeasing the separatism and pro-Pakistan sentiments by giving them security, money and other facilities on the hard earned money of the tax payers of Indian. I think the famous slogan of "Saab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas" does not apply to the people of Jammu and it is meant for the development of the Kashmir, he remarked. It was me, and was the first MP, who said in the parliament that the security of the separatists should be withdrawn immediately as they are protecting the interests of Pakistan and provoking Kashmiri youth. Ch Lal, Singh further said that, the pro-India sentiment, which can be construed as nationalism, in Jammu runs counter to the pro-Azaadi, pro-Pakistan, pro-jihad sentiment in Kashmir. Pakistan's sinister game plan has equally affected Jammu and Kashmir regions of the state but in different ways.
While addressing the gathering Ch Lal Singh said that it is very unfortunate that some of the Political parties are spreading rumors against Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and it is very must clear that they have lost elections and now they are surviving on the cheap and sinister politics of fake propaganda. The IT Cell of these parties is busy in spreading rumors on social networking sites. It is indeed a well thought-out poll strategy to garner support by hook or by crook. Criticizing the step mother treatment of the center, Ch Lal Singh said that the government at the centre has already spread the hoax that they are working for the poor and labor class of the India, but when the BJP policy has to be implemented in Jammu then the GST of 18% on the laborers working in the foothills of Mata Vaishno Devi is implemented. Ch Lal Singh appealed to the masses to vote for DSSP and said that, when I was a cabinet minister I was the only person to oppose the file of the honorarium of six thousand per month to the surrendered militant.
