Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan president and former Cabinet Minister today held a series of meetings at Bhag e Bhau,Gorkha Nagar and Jammu west today. Later a road show on foot was also organized in the posh areas, where people came out to greet Ch Lal Singh despite the scorching heat. Ch Lal Singh also reciprocated by waving his hand at them throughout the road show, which covered the areas of Trikuta Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Bhau Palaza, Shastri Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Nai Basti and Satwari Chowk. Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan president and former Cabinet Minister today said that PDP, NC and alliance partner Congress has laid a dreadful trap to divide people of the State on the basis of sects, communities and regions. Ch Lal Singh cautioned the people about sinister motives of the national parties to fragment people of Jammu province on the basis of religions. Ch Lal Singh further said that people of Jammu have to understand the dreadful trap where the Kashmir centric parties have divided the areas of the Jammu as Peer Panchal and Chenab Valley. They are trying to project that these regions are a part of Kashmir, while the fact is that every single citizen of these areas is the Dogra and now the people of the area have understood that irrespective of his religion, language and sect we all are Dogras.
Ch Lal Singh criticized the sitting MP’s for doing nothing for welfare of the people of Jammu region. He said that BJP got massive mandate from Jammu region but failed to deliver the people. BJP also got 3 Parliamentary and 25 Assembly seats, but it is unfortunate that BJP showed least concern towards people of Jammu in general and those who sacrificed their lives in Amarnath Land row agitation, in particular. Similar type of torture and harassment also happened with the people of in Rassana in the tenure of the BJP and this government was not able to convince the Mehbooba for CBI of the incident. All the sitting ministers were worried about the lust of the power and did not care about the people of Jammu. The sitting MP of Jammu is also asking the question on the electrification of the villages in Jarkhand and did not asked any question in the Parliament about Jammu. Sh Suresh Gupta, Sh Kuljeet Singh Jamwal also spoke on the occasion.
