Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stone of Chief Minister'shelpline office complex at ISBT parking,Tutikandi here today.Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that this office would be completed within the next few months and with setting up of this helpline, people of the State would be able to get redressal of their grievances at a click of a button. He said that any citizen of the State can register his complaint by dialling number 1100. He said that the people can also register their valuable suggestions for the effective functioning of the government.Chief Minister said that in order to ensure effectiveness of the helpline, he himself and Ministers would monitor its progress. He said that progress in the complaints received in Jan Manch would also be monitored through this helpline. The helpline would function from 7 am to 10 pm and this would ensure transparency in the functioning of the government.Director, Information Technology Rohan Chand Thakur detailed various salient features of the helpline. Managing Director of the executing project company Surewin Abhishek Gupta also spoke on the occasion.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Vice Chairman HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Principal Secretary, IT J.C. Sharma, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu were present on the occasion among others.
