Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of 29 developmental projects worth Rs. 75 crore in Nachan Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district on Saturday.While addressing a largely attended public meeting at Kot, the Chief Minister said that all these developmental projects would give big boost for the development of the area. He said that the state government was ensuring that those areas get preference in development which has remained neglected so far.Jai Ram Thakur said that the reins of the Nation today were in the hands of a strong leadership in form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The country gave a befitting reply to the Pakistan for the terrorist attack backed by Pakistan in Pulwama recently in which 41 innocent soldiers lost their lives including one from Himachal. He said that the surgical strike on the terrorist camps in POK by India has made it clear that the Nation would not allow anyone to challenge its integrity and unity. He said that Wing Commander Abhinandan, who was captured by the Pakistan army, has been handed over the country which speaks of the strong leadership of the country.The Chief Minister said that the present state government was working with complete dedication and commitment for making Himachal a most progressive state of the country. He said that the each day of the State Government was dedicated towards welfare of every section of the society and development of every area of the State. The Union government had been considerate towards the development needs of the state and has sanctioned developmental projects worth Rs. 10,500 crore during this small period of one year.He said that the Union government has decided to provide Rs. 6000 in bank account of each farmer, whose land holdings were less than 25 bigha. He said that almost all the farmers of the State have been benefitted under this scheme. The state government has ensured that the employment of compassionate ground was provided to the family members till the retirement of the employees.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Ayushmann Bharat Yojna launched by the Union Government has ensure health insurance cover to 50 crore people of the country. He said that the State Government at its own has started HimCare scheme to cover all those families not covered under the Ayushmann Bharat.The Chief Minister announced Primary Health Center at Shardu, Health Sub-Centres at Vella, Kasan and Bhiratha. He also announced Ayurvedic dispensaries at Chaprahan and Delaga, upgradation of Primary School Mandir Tanda to Middle School, opening of BEO office at Salwarhard, Patwar circle at Brikmani and helipad near Kamru nag.He announced construction of science block in GSSS Dhamiara and starting of Science classes in Senior Secondary School Sainji. He also announced upgradation of Government High Schools Naddi and Chamina to Senior Secondary Schools.Earlier, the Chief Minister flagged off ‘Apna Parivar-BJP Parivar’ motorcycle rally organized by the Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha.He performed bhoomi pujan of Dhanotu-Rohangalu-Jaidevi road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 18.16 crore, BBMB to Susan-Jawala road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.79 crore and laid foundation stones of HPPWD rest house near Dhanotu Chowk on which Rs. 2.37 crore would be spent, Block Elementary Education Office Jaidevi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh and 33 KV sub-station Jaidevi to be set up at a cost of Rs. 4.60 crore.The Chief Minister performed bhoomi pujan of Sagli to Kathla road to  be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.72 crore, Mandogalu to Fagyar road on which Rs. 2.30  would be spent, Nihandigali to Jhungi road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.37 crore,  Maatal to Kutachi road to be constructed Rs. 1.52 crore,  Gadog Nala to Barnog road to be built at a cost of Rs. 3.68 crore,  Naun Chawali Devidhar road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.07 crore,  Bhyana to Bahi road to be built at a cost of Rs. 1.21 crore,  Seri-Jalah Mandir road on which Rs.2.36 crore would be spent and Dhaban to Chauntra road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.83 crore.

He also laid foundation stones of  Rajkiya Cluster Vishvavidyalaya, Bassa on which Rs. 10.82 crore are be incurred, building of Type-II quarters of HPSEBL at Chunahan,  water supply scheme Jhungi and Gharot and in Gram Panchayat Kutachi and Mashogal, lift irrigation scheme in village Bhagha and Chalog to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.25 crore,  lift water supply scheme for Gram Panchayat Sainj and Nandi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.25 crore.Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated Rs. 2.60 crore lift water supply scheme Chail Chowk, Chamyar and Rafail, flow irrigation   schemes Kingri to Nachet, Jarbada to Khadoli,  Chalahar to Gulad,  Kundla to Segliropa,Chhabad Nalato Gair   and Dan-Bahuba.Speaking on this occasion, Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda said the State was fortunate to have a young and dynamic Chief Minister who was always committed towards the welfare of the common man. He said that several welfare schemes had been launched for the development of the State. Rs. 321 crore agriculture diversification scheme was being implemented in the State and now Rs. 1109 crore second phase of JICA project was likely to be sanctioned for the State. This would ensure that the income of the farmers doubles by the year 2022, he added.MLA, Nachan Vinod Kumar said that the one year's tenure of the present state government has not only ensured overall development of the State but the pace of development in Nachan Vidhan Sabha area has also gained momentum. He said that today the Chief Minister laid foundation stones and dedicated 29 developmental projects for the area.MLA Inder Singh Gandhi, Chairman, HIMFED Ram Singh, Chairman, MILKFED Nihal Chand Sharma, BJP Spokesman Ajay Rana, Chairperson and Zila Parishad Sarla Thakur were present on the occasion among others.
