As per the commitment of the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to ensure jobs to youths under the ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar Scheme by improving their skills, a total of 48 students were given certificates for the completing the three-month course of soft and communications skills organized by the district administration.Deputy Director Employment Generation Ms Sunita Kalyan said that under this course, the district administration lays thrust on reading, writing, speaking skills in English, which enables the youth to compete with their peers across the globe.She said that the curriculum for this program has been meticulously designed by Punjab Skill Development Mission which aims at personality development of the youngsters by upgrading their skills in business etiquettes, personal grooming, interview readiness and body language.Any person between the age group of 18-35 years could apply for this training program, she added.On the occasion, Mr Praveen Bakshi, Block Mission Manager Mr. Suraj Kler, Block Thematic Manager Ms Mandeep Kaur and others were present.
