Around 1570 demands and complaints received during Jan Manch

Around 1570 demands and complaints were received during the Jan Manch organised in the ten districts of the state organised on Sunday, as per the reports reaching on the  headquarters. The programme was not organised in Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur districts due to bad weather conditions. 

District Hamirpur

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that Jan Manch has proved to be an appropriate platform for direct communication between the people and the government and it is  helping in resolving the public grievances in an effective manner at their door-steps. He was presiding over the Jan Manch at Lambloo in Hamirpur district where 108 demands  and complaints were received.Dr. Bindal distributed free LPG connections to 20 beneficiary women and various certificates on the occasion.MLA Narender Thakur was also  present on this occasion.

District Kullu

Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor chaired the Jan Manch in Sainj Sub-Tehsil of Banjar constituency of Kullu district. In all 116 demands and  complaints were presented out of which 55 were disposed off on the spot.Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Kapoor said that the state government would resolve the problems  being faced by the affected families of NHPC and HPPCL hydroelectric project in a high level meeting.The Minister distributed 237 LPG connections to the beneficiary women and  FDs amounting to Rs. 10000 each to 17 girls under Beti Hai Anmol scheme. As many as 420 Him Care Cards were also prepared during the programme.MLA Surender Shaurie  was also present on the occasion.

District Solan

In Solan district, the Jan Manch was organised in Dangil panchayat presided over by MPP and Power Minister Anil Sharma. He directed the electricity board to establish  transformer for Takrana, Kurgal and Naura irrigation scheme within a month. He also directed to establish 63 kv transformer on priority basis in Bakhor village of Dangil  panchayat. He assured that matter would be taken up with the government to exclude seven panchayats of Chail area from TCP Act.In all, 236 demands and complaints were  received during the Jan Manch, Various types of certificates were distributed during this occasion.

District Shimla

In Shimla district, the Jan Manch was organised in Shimla which was chaired by Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary and Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj was  present as special guest.Sarveen Chaudhary said that the state government has launched various welfare schemes to ensure welfare of all sections of the society. Aimed at  women empowerment and environment conservation, Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna has been started under which free gas connections are being given to those families which  are not covered under Ujjawala scheme of the government of India.As many as 123 demands and complaints were received during the occasion.Suresh Bhardwaj directed to  complete the work on fly flyovers in Shimla town within seven months. 

District Sirmour

The Jan Manch in Sirmour district was organised at Devthi- Majhgaon in Pachhad assembly constituency in which 88 cases were received. While presiding over the function,  Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda said that a market sub yard would be established to facilitate the farmers of Rasumander and Pajhota areas. He said that the state  government is endeavouring to provide better marketing facility to the farmers and big basket scheme has been launched in Kinnaur, Shimla and Solan districts in coordination  with Nescafe and Mother Dairy and soon Reliance would be added.The Minister distributed 140 LPG connections to the beneficiary women and honoured 13 girl child under Beti  Hai Anmol programme.MLA Suresh Kashyap was also present on the occasion. 

District Mandi

Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar presided over the function organised at Katola in Drang constituency of district Mandi. As many as 142 demands and complaints were  received during the Jan Manch out of which maximum were disposed off on the occasion.The Minister distributed various certificates and LPG connections to the beneficiaries.

MLA Jawahar Thakur was also present on this occasion. 

District Una

As many as 176 demands and complaints were received during the Jan Manch organised in Kuthera Jaswalan panchayat in Gagret assembly constituency of Una district which  was presided over by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar.Speaking during the occasion, the Minister said that the BJP government has approved  SDM office for the Gagret assembly segment and IPH Sub-Division has been opened at Daulatpur Chowk.He distributed 295 free LPG connections during the programme and FDs  to ten girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojna.MLA Rajesh Thakur was also present on this occasion.

District Kangra

Industries Minister Bikram Singh said that the state government is making all out efforts to provide self-employment avenues to the youth and various schemes have been initiated  in this regard by making provision of various incentives. He urged the youth to take maximum benefit of Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojna under which various incentives are  being given,He was presiding over the Jan Manch at Baroh in Nagrota assembly segment of Kangra district.The Minister distributed 350 free LPG connections under Himachal  Grihini Suvidha and FDs to 22 girls under Beti Hai Anmol scheme.As many as 160 cases were received during the occasion out of which 140 were settled on the spot.As per  Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar, 303 cases were received pre-Jan Manch out of which 277 were redressed before this Jan Manch.  

District Bilaspur

At Kandror in Bilaspur district, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal presided over the Jan Manch. As many as 345 demands and complaints were received  during the Jan Manch in the district.He distributed 320 gas connections, various certificates and FDs under Beti Hai Anmol scheme. 

District Chamba

In Chamba district, the Jan Manch was held at Dugli in Churah assembly constituency which was presided over by Deputy Speaker Hansraj. He said that various road projects  are being implemented in the Churah constituency to facilitate the people and rupees four crores will be spent on broadening the Kaila-Dugli road.He distributed LPG connections  to around 36 beneficiaries and various other certificates.As many as 77 demands and complaints were received and most of them were redressed on the occasion.
