Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan organized interaction with the Sikh community of the Jammu region in a local hotel today. The program begins with the welcome address by the general Secretary DR Hari Dutt Shishu, who while welcoming the gathering of  Sikh sangat threw light on the contribution made by the community to fight against the injustice in the society. He expressed his gratitude to the members of the community turned out in huge number and has been fighting right from the beginning of the struggle launched by  Ch Lal Singh seeking justice for infamous Rassana case.Ch. Lal Singh while addressing the gathering invoked Sikh Guru Govind singh Ji and remembered the unparallel sacrifices made by the this panth for the justice to the mankind since its inception. How a brave community like Sikh can be marginalized and their contribution belittled, he remarked.  He regretted that the Sikh community is the worst sufferer in Jammu province and their sufferings started from the days of the partition when they were uprooted from their homes and hearths under a deep rooted political conspiracy in which the entire non Kashmiri speaking area of Jammu was converted into disputed territory. The design was aimed to keep political power with Kashmir permanently. It was the result of the same that this entire community was scattered at different places and was not allowed to settle at one place simply with the aim to weaken this brave community.

While lambasting the NC, Ch Lal Singh said that it sounds incredulous that how the party like NC and its leaders bank upon the votes of this community to whom they did not give the shelter to settle in Kashmir in 1947 partition and were forcefully evacuated to this part of the region and have frizzed their political fate in the form of seats still lying vacant in the assembly. While targeting PDP, Lal Singh further said that this is another face of NC and Mehboba Mufti is always look for the opportunity to divide the people of Jammu and polarize for its political gains.  Ch Lal Singh made a fervent appeal to the Sikh community to come under the banner of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and support its vision which is only a alternative for the whole Jammu province where we can safeguard our age old culture of Unity in Diversity. He further said that given a chance Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will give due share to all its stakeholders and make Jammu province a worth living place. Ms. Navneet Kaur spokesperson while addressing appeled to the youth of the community to support DSS and its vision for political empowerment.  S. Balbir Singh conducted the proceedings of the program.
