Ch Lal Singh former Cabinet Minister and Ex MP and Smt. Kanta Andotra former MLA, Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh, Maj General NS Jamwal, Brig JR Sharma, Former Vice Chancellor and Ex MLC YR Sharma, Col JP Singh Chairman Ex Service men Cell of DSS today hoisted the National Flag at headquarter of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan at 10 D/C Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The Program started with the arrival of the Chief Guest and the flag was hoisted by Sh. Ch Lal Singh. National anthem was played and a salute was given to the National flag and to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the Nation.While remembering the Heroes who fought for the Independence of the country, Ch Lal Singh said that it’s the high time that all Dogras should take inspiration from them and must unite to fight against the Kashmir hegemony and ensure justice to the people of Jammu region. It’s only due to the people of Jammu region and their commitment with the nation that Jammu and Kashmir is the part of India. He regretted that the successive governments in the center always ignored the interests of the Dogras due to which National Flag is honored in J and K. While addressing the controversial policies of the Kashmir centric parties, Ch Lal Singh said that the division of Jammu region into Peer Panchal and Chenab Valley is a nefarious design to separate the people Jammu region.
While commenting upon the various leaders of the PDP and NC, that the Muslims are not safe in Jammu, Ch Lal Singh said that if they are not safe in Jammu, then why they Kashmiri Muslim migrating to Jammu. Jammu is the only secular place where all the communities leave peacefully. While referring to the Rasana incident, Ch lal Singh said that the girl was a daughter of Dogras and she was the daughter of Dogras of the Jammu and has been used by the Kashmiri leadership to spread the hatred between the peace loving communities of the Jammu.While addressing the gathering, Ch Lal Singh said that wining of the Panchyat election is beginning of the war against the controversial leadership of Kashmir against the grave injustice with Jammu and now we have to face the big challenge by uniting the entire Dogras. While addressing the gathering Ch Lal Singh said that reorganization of the all the areas of Jammu must be done by creating more Panchyats and Corporations in Jammu province. The development of the township for the border areas must be implemented as soon as possible. Ch Lal Singh reiterated the revival of the Dogra certificate.Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, General Secretary of the Sangathan presented the welcome address and conducted the proceedings of the program. He also paid tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh who was the first independent prince who took up the demand of Independent India in the round table conference. Then the program was followed by the cultural items. The various artists participated in the program include Sh Jackson, Slathia brothers, Prem Kumar and Lucky. The school childrens gave excellent performance and whole audience was enthralled by the performance. The entire central body members, frontal organization heads, district presidents, the different block level and Panchyat level teams from Mendhar, Rajouri, Kathua, Poonch, Resai, Udhampur, RSpura, Bisnah, Doda, Kishtwar and, prominent citizens and heads of the social organization were present in the function.
