Members of Punjab School Education Board Handball team, which remained third in under-17 category of 64th National School Games held at Sidhipet district of Telangana from 12 to 16 January 2019, today met with Punjab Education Minister Om Prakash Soni.Congratulating members of the winning team, the Education Minister expressed hope that the students of the state would compete at the national level sports arena in future and bring the laurel to their state. He said that state government is diligently working to promote sports in schools so that good players could be produced at grass root level. Team coach Mr. Ramandeep Singh, Coach Mr. Harjinder Singh, Coach Kulwinder Singh and Team Captain Mr. Monu were also present during meeting.
