SKUAST-TAJ delegation meets Governor

A delegation of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology  Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ), led by its President Dr. Vikas Sharma, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today. The delegation requested for early completion of selection process of already advertised posts of faculty and administrative positions, sanctioning of new faculties for SKUAST-J, implementation of Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) in SKUAST-J, removal of adhocism on statutory positions of the University as per rules,  early filling up of teaching and non-teaching  vacant posts in SKUAST-J and revival of Sericulture Division in SKUAST-J.Governor, who is the Chancellor of the SKUAST-J, observed that these issues would be reviewed and appropriate action would be taken for their redressal.Dr. Vivek Arya; Dr. P.K. Rai; Dr. Harish Sharma, and Dr. Ashok Kumar were the part of the delegation.
