This is basically a small fort, surrounded by hills all around. The place where this is located is called Chikkabalapur, which is a small district in the state of Karnataka. This place is said to be the origin place of the river Arkhavaty. These hills were called by this name because of the Nandi temple that it has in its bottom. Not just the bottom, there is a temple above the hill also. Both the temples belong to the Lord Nandi and have huge idols of him. 2.Tipu Sultana’s palace

Skandgiri is a place 60 Kms away from Bangalore, an ideal destination for spending your weekends. People coming to this place go for trekking up the hills. Once you reach the top apart from the scenic view, you will also get to see the remaining of an old palace. There are a few more structures that one can get to see while on the top. To visit this place, you will have to pay a fee of rupees 450, which is taken by the authorities of the Karnataka government for the maintenance of the place. 4.Brindavan gardens
Next place in the list is Brindavan gardens, which is situated in the City of Mysore. The district in which this garden is located is 143 km away from the city of Bangalore and is named as Mandya. These gardens are one of the best things that the state got during the reign of Tipu Sultana. These are the world’s most beautiful terrace gardens that one can ever witness.
