The Union Commerce Secretary Dr. Anup Wadhavan, IAS along with his team of officers of the Commerce Ministry held a high level meeting today with Dr. Karan Avtar Singh, IAS, Chief Secretary, Punjab at Chandigarh to discuss various issues and problems of the exporters of the State. Smt. Vikas Pratap, IAS, Secretary Tourism & Cultural Affairs, , Civil Aviation, Sh Husan Lal, IAS, Secretary B&R, Sh Rahul Bhandari, IAS, MD PSIEC & Sh DPS Kharbanda, IAS, Director, Industries & Commerce.Prior to the consultation with Chief Secretary, a meeting was held with the exporters of the State which was arranged by FIEO and Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab at Hotel Mount View, Chandigarh which was attended by representatives of EEPC, CICU, CII, FICCI,ASSOCHAM, PHDCCI.The issues of the exporters were broadly classified into three categories relating to EXIM Trade, GST & Infrastructure issues.
