National Scheduled Castes Alliance to start a pamphlet distribution movement concerning the plight of the poor scheduled castes facing atrocities under this Congress Government regime starting its drive from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency of the Chief Minister, Capt. Amrinder Singh himself and the Shutrana Vidhan Sabha, constituency of the MLA Nirmal Singh, alleged to be involved in protecting the accused in the case of victims belonging to Scheduled Castes families sitting on Symbolic Hunger Strike at Sector 25 Rally Ground Chandigarh since 21st December 2018.Continuing the protest into entered 19th consecutive day, victim families of both Shergarh and Atalan village sitting on the symbolic hunger strike and also members of the National Scheduled Castes Alliance, wrapped black ribbons around their foreheads in order to register their disappointment with the ignorant behavior of the state government in helping these victims get justice.Paramjit Singh Kainth, President of the Alliance said," We are going to start the pamphlet drive from 10th of January from Shutrana. The people of the district should realize how their CM has ignored the plight of these poor souls protesting peacefully in this cold weather since 21st december. Scheduled Castes community has to suffer enormous social discrimination and its time that this Government realizes the situation and takes proactive steps."
