Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran celebrated the annual placement day in campus. Organised annually, the occasion seeks to cheer CGCians placed with leading companies.This year saw the campus hosting 492 MNCs from sectors including IT, Aviation, Banking, Retail, Hospitality & Tourism, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Banking & Financial Management, among others and 5,134 job offers. Some of these MNCs included Wipro, Google, TCS, IBM, Fortune 500 companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, among a plethora of others. Rs 31.7 Lakh Per Annum was the highest package offered by Amazon India world’s third largest information technology company.The event saw enthusiastic participation from the placed students, most of whom have multiple offers in hand. Live band performance, a flash mob by freshers cheering the soon-to-be pass outs, quirky selfies in the selfie zone, victory march followed by lunch and DJ party made up the celebrations.Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, congratulated the students and wished them the very best for their future. Bidding them farewell they invoked the students to make their institution proud by becoming valuable assets to their respective companies. Reiterating CGC’s commitment to getting them the best placement opportunities they highlighted the efforts made by the institution to provide them with not just top quality education but also comprehensive training to hone their practical and soft skills turning them into industry-ready professionals.
