Himachal Pradesh signs transport agreement with UP and J&K

Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh on Monday signed the mutual transport agreement at Lucknow to extend inter-state transport services.Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh Thakur after signing the agreement aid that this would prove to be an effective step in providing better and convenient transport facility to the people of all the three states. He said this has been possible due to concerted efforts of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and his counterpart Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh.He said that after 1985, it is for the first time that such kind of agreement has been made between Himachal and Uttar Pradesh which was must for economic, cultural, tourism and trade point of view.During this ceremony, Yogi Adityanath called up Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to thank him for taking this initiative.
