Under the unique initiative of the State Government 'Tandarust Mission', Mansa Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait has been started project 3D (Three Dustbins) in the the ward number 20 of the city. This project is initiated for not only clean the city but to city free from garbage dumps.An event has been organized at Gaushala situated at Water Works Road. On this occasion, she said that for the success of this project, administration needs full cooperation of people. She said that if we want to live a healthy life in a clean environment, then all of us should cooperate in this project.Divulging further, Ms. Riyait said that today this project has started from 20 wards and will soon be initiated at 27 wards of the city and then the district will become garbage and dump free. Speaking on the occasion, she said that we need to make joint efforts to get rid of the problem of garbage. Everyone should understand their responsibility. She said that income can also be generated from the garbage if we use it in the right direction.She said that earlier Project Director of Green India Service Mr. C. Niwasan reached Mansa for this unique initiative. During the 2-Day Workshop for preparing Mansa dump-free district, Mr. Niwasan awakened the people about this project.Ms. Riyait said that under the leadership of SDM Mansa, Mr. Abhijit Kaplish, The Motivators, who are deputed by Municipal Council, residents of the ward number 20 were apprised about the use of white, green and red dustbin. They also distributed the bins of three different colours to the residents. She said that the tracking system will also be installed on those Carts who have been engaged for picking the garbage from houses.

On this occasion SDM of Mansa Mr. Abhijit Kaplish apprised the people through projector that how to use the waste and how it is processed. He told that white dustbin is for fodder for cows, green bin for green waste, which can be used to made fertilizers and put dry garbage in red bin which can be recycled. He said that the initiative of white dustbin has been done by Mansa and it is the first such project in the whole country.SDM Said that in order to successfully complete this project, the Welfare Committees will also be constituted in every ward. Any kind of suggestions for keeping the district clean can be given on helpline number 01652-227408 and WHATSAPP number 73071-53895. He said that special arrangements have been made for carrying garbage from the people's homes (which have put in white, green and red dustbins). He said that rehabilitation has been set up for 250 houses or shops, which would take 2 hours a day to clean garbage from houses or shops. He said that waste can also be made a source of income if used properly. He said that in order to segregate dry garbage, it is 17-18 MRF (Material Recovery Facility) Centers will also be set up in the city.Residents of ward number 20, who attended the function, expressed confidence in the administration and the municipal council to provide full support to the campaign and assured that they would also motivate others to join it.On this occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mr. Rajesh Tripathi, President Municipal Council Mansa Mr. Mandeep Singh Gora, Information and Science Officer Mr. Chanderjit Saini, Executive Officer Mr. Vijay Kumar Jindal, Fire Officer Mr. Raj Kumar, Swachh Bharat Motivator Mr.Aditya Madaan, Supervisor Mr. Mohinder Singh and Mr. Happy Jindal, MCs, doctors and a large number of residents were present.
