Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla today dedicated two hi-tech ambulances in the services of patients at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital Amritsar. These ambulances were commissioned under 16th Lok Sabha MPLAD Scheme funds by S. Aujla. S. Aujla informed that these FORCE 3350 ambulances are fitted with latest equipments and has space for all the advanced equipments and cost around 35 lakhs. One of the two ambulances shall be docked at Civil Hospital and shall be operated by Civil Surgeon. S. Aujla further informed that he is also commissioning two hi-tech battery operated ride-on floor scrubbers and driers which shall be operational by the end of January. These scrubbers would resolve the floor cleaning issues which are due to lack of work force.

S. Aujla also inaugurated a new X-Ray room developed with more than 10 lakhs under MPLAD scheme for accommodating the machine provided by SAMSUNG. S. Aujla informed that the Rs. 2 crore worth hi-tech machine capable to making X-Ray films within minutes was given by Samsung but the hospital had no funds for the room, so he commissioned this project with his MPLAD scheme funds and dedicated the machine for the patients.
