The year 2018 was the happening year for the students, staff and management of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.This year gave a golden opportunity to collaborate with TEDx and interact with 14 top speakers from all over the World on their life experiences including Acharya Balkrishna Founder & CEO, Patanjali; Dr. Satinder Sartaaj, Sufi Poet, Singer, Writer, Actor & Scholar; Dr. Laura A. Jana, World's Leading Pediatrician, USA; Magic Singh, International Magician, England etc. Aryans collaborated with Chandigarh Press Club for 3 days photo exhibition where Governor Punjab, Sh. VP Singh Badnore and Captain Amarinder Singh felicitated Aryans for its contribution.Aryans as an education partner with Chandigarh Tourism organized 3 days Rose Festival where Renowned Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa, Gippy Grewal and Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari performed live on the musical evenings. Apart from this Aryans collaborated with the top music company EYP Creations and organized Crossblade wherein renowed Punjabi artists like Hans Raj Hans, Navraj Hans, Yuvraj Hans, Parmish verma, Manj Musik, Sunanda Sharma, B Praak, Armaan Bedil, Sajjan Adeeb, Gurnazar Chattha, Jasmine Sandlas, DJ Flow, Sara Gurpal, etc enthralled the audience and with Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal (ZPHH) for Punjab Vaarta wherein Students and Staff of Aryans got chance to interact with the cabinet ministers and the audience on the current issues of Punjab including Jobs in Punjab, Drug free Punjab, Industrialization, Education, Crops & Farmers etc.Under the Social Responsibility Plan (CSR) Blood Donation Camp, Free Health Check Up Camp etc were also organized for the students and rural people.
Dignitaries including Hon’ble Governor Tripura, Sh. Tathagata Roy; Governor Punjab, Sh. VP Singh Badnore; Chief Minister Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh; S. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Minister for Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Punjab; Maharani Preneet Kaur, Ex Minister for State; Finance Minister, Punjab, S. Manpreet Singh Badal etc graced various functions and felicitated Aryans Group for its achievements.Hon’ble Mr. Justice Swatanter Kumar, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India & Former Chairperson, National Green Tribunal; Former Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court & Chairperson Haryana Human Rights Commission, Mr. Justice Vijender Jain; Senior Supreme Court Advocate & Rajya Sabha Member, Sh. KTS Tulsi etc have also graced and blessed Aryans students in many functions organized at its Campus.Renowned Bollywood and pollywood artists including Shivjot, Rajvir Jawandha, Miss Pooja, Sajjan Adeeb, Bannet Dosanjh, Monty & Waris, Akaal, Simar Gill, Jeet Jagjit, Rana Ranbir, Pardeep Sran etc enthralled the students in various functions of Aryans.Students of Aryans College of Engineering have also launched various projects/Start ups like “eMunshi- Advocate Diary” App; Aryans Solar Boat launched at Dal Lake, Srinagar; Aryans Shikara App launched at Dal Lake etc. The students have equally participated and promoted the social causes like Anti Drug Rally, AIDS Awareness, Cancer Awareness Day, International Women Day, No Tobacco Day etc to aware the people.In 2018 the College has added Pharmacy Courses, Skill Development Courses, Diploma in Agriculture course etc with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. The College is also doing project under Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) in Jansua Village.
