Deputy Commissioner Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today urged the students to actively participate in scouts and guides activities which will help them in gaining leadership qualities.The DDC was speaking at a function organized by Jammu and Kashmir Scouts & Guides at Sheikh Ul Alam Hall Budgam. The function was attended by Deputy Commissioner Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, Chief Commissioner JK Scouts Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, Dy Sp Headquarter Budgam.On the occasion, various scout bags were distributed among the highly talented scouts & Guides for their meritorious services.While speaking on the occasion, she said that such activities will help and prepare them as responsible citizens for their rest of the life. “I congratulate students, teachers and the entire Scouts and Guides team for their participation and hope they will carry forward the message and becomes one of the best leaders through their participation,” she said.The DC said that it is really matter of real achievement that youth are participating in sports and scouts activities. She said that that the goal of our youth should be to acquire quality education and excel in life.The JK Scout Band presented Scout Tarana and scout Mashal light show in which Scout platoon Bulbulshah palatoon, Lala Daed Platoon, Sheikh ul Alam platoon Habakhatoon platoon and other Platoons of education participated. These Mashals of education were lit to ensure 100% education rate in District Budgam.
