A sum of Rs. 50 crore Project would be sanctioned soon for development of the famous Mata Chintpurni Dham for convenience of the tourists and pilgrims visiting this holy shrine.  This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing a largely attended public meeting at Maharana Pratap Government Degree College, Amb in Chintpurni assembly constituency of Una district today.Jai Ram Thakur said that Chintpurni shrine was a world famous shrine where lakhs of devotees and tourists visit round the year. He said that under this project infrastructure and other basic facilities would be developed to facilitate the visitors and a helipad would also be constructed near the shrine to facilitate high end tourists and devotees visiting this religious place.The Chief Minister said that the present state government came into power by getting about 48 percent vote share in the last Vidhan Sabha elections. He said that since then the State Government was working with great    dedication and commitment to come up to the expectations of the people of the state. During the small period of about ten months the state government has initiated several schemes for development of the state. He said that the state was fortunate that the central leadership was sympathetic towards developmental aspirations of the people of the state and had sanctioned projects worth Rs. 9000 crore for the state.He said that the work on all the central projects would be expedited so that people of the state could reap the benefit of these projects. 

During ten months tenure of the state government, he has visited 56 Assembly constituencies of the state to ensure balanced development and welfare of every section of the society. He said that the government was working without the attitude of vengeance and vendetta and the government does not believe in witch hunting with political motive, but would not spare those found guilty of any kind of corruption.Jai Ram Thakur said that the thirty new schemes launched by the state government in the budget were being effectively implemented. Gharini Suvidha Yojna was for women and Mukhiya Mantri Swablamban Yojna was aimed at empowerment of youth and Jan Manch Programme for redressal of public grievances of the general public. He said that Gudiya Helpline was launched for safety of girls and women of the state and Hoshiyar Singh Helpline was launched for checking corruption in the state. He said that all these schemes were poised to make Himachal Pradesh a most developed state of the country. Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of improvement of Bharwain-Chintpurni-Pacca Tiala road to be completed at a cost of Rs. 16.15 crore which would benefit over 13000 people of the area. He laid foundation stone of Kinnu-Guret road and bridge over Gour Khad to be constructed by spending an amount of Rs. 3.47 crore and of Kalruhi-Mather-Lohara link road and bridge over Kalruhi Khad to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.87 crore.Later, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of lift water supply scheme for Gram Panchayat Nehri Nauranga at Kuthera Kherla to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.35 crore. He announced that bed capacity of the civil hospital Amb would be increased from 30 to hundred. It was announced to providing ten beds each in PHCs at Suhani and Shitala. He said that the State Government take up the matter of opening Ayurvedic Hospital at Amb with the Ayush Ministry of the Government of India and Indoor Stadium and Mini Secretariat would be constructed at Amb.  

A mega food park and 15 tubewells and 25 hand pumps would also be constructed and be installed in the constituency. He announced Rs. 10 lakh each for construction of two roads in the area and Rest house Amb would be expanded. He said that matter for establishing Trauma Centre at Amb would be taken with the Union Government.Various social, cultural and political associations and NGOs honoured the Chief Minister on the occasion. Chairman Temple Trust Chintpurni and Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati presented a Cheque of Rs. 20 lakh to the Chief Minister towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on behalf of the trust. Several individuals, associations and NGOs also presented cheques to the Chief Minister towards the CMRF. Earlier in the morning, Chief Minister visited the famous Maa Chintpurni shrine and performed puja.State BJP President Satpal Singh Satti said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided a corruption free government during the four and a half years. He said that today, India was poised to emerge as world power due to development oriented policies of the Centre Government. The state government is also working tirelessly for welfare of the people to make Himachal Pradesh Model State for other states of the country.Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur said that the Centre Government under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed for providing liberal financial assistance of the state for its all-round development. 

He said that 25 new National Highways have been sanctioned for Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency by the Union Government and four lane projects have been sanctioned for the state and work was in progress on these projects. Rs. 300 crore IIIT has been established at Saloh in Una district and AIIMS has been sanctioned for the state which was being opened in Kothipura in Bilaspur district. It was due to his efforts that a world class Cricket stadium was constructed at Dharamshala in Kangra district which was acclaimed as the most beautiful cricket stadium of the world. Vice Chairman HIMUDA Praveen Sharma said that the state was steadily forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He urged the Chief Minister to establish Trauma Centre in Amb Hospital as the area was prone to accidents due to heavy traffic in the area. MLA Chintpurni Balbir Chaudhary while welcoming the Chief Minister and other dignitaries to his home constituency said that Rs. 155 crore have been allocated for development of his constituency during the tenure of the present state government. He also detailed various developmental demands of the area and urged to provide Nagar Parishad status to Amb. Vice Chairman State Industrial Development Corporation Prof. Ram Kumar, MLA Gagret Rajesh Thakur, District BJP President and AMPC Chairman Balbir Bagga, former MLA Sushma Sharma, OSD to the CM Mahender Dharmani, Deputy Commissioner Una Rakesh Prajapati and SP Una Diwakar Sharma were present on the occasion among others.
