PHC Beetan to be upgraded to Community Health Centre

The Primary Health Centre at Beetan in Haroli constituency of Una district would be upgraded to Community Health Centre and named after Sat Guru Lal Ji Dass Bramahanand Ji and the road would be constructed from Amrali to Singha leading to Sat Guru Lal Ji Dass Ashram by spending an amount of Rs. 6 crore and named as Sat Guru Lal Ji Dass Brahmanand Ji Bhuriewale Marg.This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the gathering  at Lalpuri  Vishnu Dham at Beetan today while participating over the function of the ‘Murti Sthapna’ of Sat Guru Lal Ji Dass Maharaj.The Chief Minister said that the organisation was rendering a great service for the cause of humanity by undertaking various philanthropic activities in the area. Not only this, the organisation has constructed water reservoir for wild animals in the forests, thus showing their concern even for animals. He said that the state government has also decided to construct cow shelter for abandoned cows in the state. He said that the government has lowered the age limit of old persons for getting old age pensions without any income limit from 80 years to 70 years.

Jai Ram Thakur said that it was unfortunate that due to various complexities of life we were moving away from values and our traditions. It was vital for progress and development of any society to respect its culture and traditions. He said that we should also come forward to help the poor and the needy. It was a matter of great concern that drug abuse was emerging as a major challenge for the society and in order to curb this menace, collective efforts should be initiated.The Chief Minister announced that 20,000 litre water storage tank and safety wall would be constructed around the Ashram.Swami Chetanayanand Maharaj of Lalpuri Vishnu Dham welcomed and honoured the Chief Minister.Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur said that the state was known as Dev Bhoomi, but still it was not free from drug abuse. He urged the youth to stay away from this vice as it could ruin their lives.State BJP President Satpal Singh Satti also spoke on the occasion.Vice Chairman, State Industrial Development Corporation Prof. Ram Kumar welcomed the Chief Minister and other present on the occasion.Vice Chairman, HIMUDA Praveen Sharma, MLAs Rajesh Thakur and Balbir Singh and Chairman APMC Balbir Bagga were present on the occasion among others.
