The District Bar Association (DBA) Ludhiana today launched Ambulance Services within the District Courts Complex, here. This service was inaugurated by District & Sessions Judge Mr Gurbir Singh, Commissioner of Police Dr Sukhchain Singh Gill, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr Shena Aggarwal, Managing Director of Avon Cycles Ltd Mr Onkar Singh Pahwa, besides others.This ambulance service has been started with the initiative of DBA President Mr Parupkar Singh Ghuman and under the CSR initiative of Avon Cycles Ltd.While speaking on the occasion, Mr Parupkar Singh Ghuman informed that it is for the first time in Indian Judicial system at District and Sessions Division that ambulance services have been launched. He said that it has been a joint effort by DBA Secretary Mr Mandeep Sidhu, Finance Secretary Mr Rakesh Sharma, Joint Secretary Mr Hanish Gupta, and members of executive specially Gagan Bedi, Sandeep Aulakh, Parminder Sandhu, Kirandeep Grewal, Varun Ahuja, Inderjit Grewal, Muskan Gupta and Payal Soni.Mr Parupkar Singh Ghuman informed that this ambulance has been donated by Mr Onkar Singh Pahwa under CSR initiative from Avon Cycles Pvt Ltd.District and Sessions Judge Mr Gurbir Singh said that this ambulance service would be used for the benefit of Public at large in case of emergency during court hours in Judicial complex and for the lawyers and their families in case of any emergency.
