The meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.The Authority approved 12 proposals for setting up new industrial units and for expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approx. Rs. 377.45 crores and employment potential of about 690 persons.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposal of M/s Vision Fresh and Frozen, Village Shyampura, Haroli, District Una for manufacturing of butter, pasteurized milk, curd and lassi etc., M/s Ravi Enterprises village Rakh, Tehsil Palampur in district Kangra for manufacturing of oxygen, M/s A.G Dauters Waste Processing Private Limited, village Behdala, Tehsil UP Mohal Chokhyal, district Una for manufacturing of electrical power and M/s My Shimla Fruit Players Pvt. Ltd., village Baghari, Kumarsain, district Shimla for manufacturing of Jam and Chutney.Among the expansion proposals, the proposals of M/s Morepen Laboratories Limited, village Malkumajra in Baddi of district Solan for manufacturing of bulk drugs, formulation, plastic moulding, M/s ITC Limited, VPO Manpura, Tehsil Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of soap, shampoo shower gel, cream and lotion, perfume, M/s Alpla India Pvt. Ltd Unit-II, village Kaundi, district Solan for manufacturing of plastic bottles, plastic caps, M/s N.S Industries Unit-II, industrial area Gondpur, Paonta Sahib, Distt. Sirmour for manufacturing of cartons, labels, leaflets, plastic containers and other Plastic Items, M/s RCI Industries and Technologies Ltd., Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of copper alloys strips, M/s Friends Alloys, village Bated, Barotiwala, Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of ingot, M/s Jaiswal Metals Private Limited, village Ogli, Kala Amb, district Sirmour for manufacturing of MS or SS ingots flats SS Patti Alloys Steel, MS Round or TOR, M/s Himalaya Communications Ltd., Katha, Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of HDPE pipes, optical fiber cables, non-ferrous metals, jelly filled telephone cables and PVC cables,Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal, Secretary Industries Manoj Kumar, Labour Commissioner-cum-Director B.C Badalia, Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma, Senior Environment Engineer, HP State Pollution Control Board Praveen Gupta were also present in the meeting.
