JEE Advanced to be conducted on May 19

In an official notification released on the website of JEE, it was announced that JEE Advanced will be conducted in May 2019. As per the updated information the examination will be held on Sunday. JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee, with the assistance of JAB. The examination will be conducted in an online-mode for both Paper-I&II.JEE Advanced registration will begin after the announcement of JEE Main 2019 results, which is estimated to be somewhere around the first or second week of May. However, it is expected that JEE Advanced 2019 results will be announced tentatively in the second week of June 2019. JEE Counselling and seat allotment will be done through JoSAA.As per the record, previous year 2,24,000 candidates were shortlisted for JEE Advanced 2018 and 18,138 students cleared the cut-off.

JEE Advanced is held across several examination centers around 155 cities across the country along with six international centers. The exam centers are divided into seven zones and the candidates have to choose the zone of their preference at the time of filling the application form. The seven zones include IIT Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, and Madras.When appearing in JEE Advanced examination applicants should follow and stick to the rules of the examination as stated by the authorities. According to the rules, applicants are not allowed to carry mobile phones, earphones, Bluetooth, digital or smart watches, or any other electronic gadget to the examination hall. Violation of any mentioned rule at any stage of the examination will be subject to the instant cancellation of the candidature.
