The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badnore formally unveiled the book “THE GYPSY TRAIL – Travels and Travails of an Army Wife” authored by Mrs. Lily Swarn wife of a retired Col. S.S.Swarn at Punjab Raj Bhawan Chandigarh.Talking about the book, the author said the book is a humble attempt to acquaint the readers with the fascinating life of army and that of the army wives in particular. It is the recollection of a dreamy eyed young bride, Mili, plunged straight into the exciting, adventurous and unpredictable world of the services. From far flung remote cantonments to small towns with forgotten history – she traverses the vast landscape of India enriching her life experiences.The Governor while appreciating the author's third book "The Gypsy Trail" termed it an amazing book with a clear description of the most fascinating towns and cities across the Country.
