The Jan Manch, fifth in the series was organised successfully all over the State on Sunday. The Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha and all the Cabinet Ministers chaired the programme organised in all districts of the State. The people in large number participated in Jan Manch for redressal of their grievances and other issues.As per the last reports received at the state headquarters, round 3100 complaints and demands were received during the Jan Manch in the state today and most of them were disposed off on the spot and rests were referred to the concerned departments for speedy disposal.Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Rajiv Bindal presided over the Jan Manch at Rani Kotla in Sri Naina Devi Assembly constituency. Addressing the people on this occasion, he said that the Jan Manch had turned out to be an effective programme to benefit the people of rural areas of the state. He directed the Ultra Tech management to construct the road within six months to Rani Kotla area within six months and also to ensure parking facility at Bagha and Rani Kotla. He also directed the Police and Mining departments to keep close vigil to check illegal mining activities in the area.In all, 721 demands and complaints were received during the programme. The Speaker distributed various certificates, motor vehicle licenses, 171 gas connections, FDs to 27 girls and 111 mutations were also made. More than 700 persons were examined during the health camps.Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh, who presided over the Jan Manch at Uhal in Sujanpur sub-division of Hamirpur district said that the state government had prepared Rs. 4791 crores project for rain water harvesting and irrigation which would go a long way in doubling the farmers income. He said Rs. 798 crores had been sanctioned to change the pipelines of the drinking water schemes constructed before year 2000 and a target had been fixed to clean all water storage tanks of the state before 31 October, 2018 so as to ensure the quality of drinking water.As many as 164 complaints and demands were received during the today's Jan Manch.Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and MLA Rajender Rana were also present on this occasion.In Shimla district, the Jan Manch was held at Talai (Mashobra) where Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor said that the state government had launched Grihini Suvidha Yojana under which free LPG connections and gas stoves were being given to remaining households who had not been covered under Ujjawala scheme of the union government. He said Himachal Pradesh was the first state in the country to provide this facility to all households.
During the Jan Manch, 128 cases were received out of which 98 were disposed off on the spot. Medical camps were also organised and various kinds of certificates were distributed to the people.Urban Development Minister Sarween Chaudhary while presiding over the function at Chadhiyar in Baijnath assembly segment of Kangra district said that the state government was giving added attention to fulfill the housing need of the poor and underprivileged people. She said a provision of rupees nine crores had been made under Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban for Kangra district during this financial year and so far 23 applications had been received under this scheme with proposed investment of Rs. 4.50 crores which would give employment to around 166 persons.As many as 291 cases were received in this Jan Manch out of which 197 were settled before the programme.MLAs Mulkh Raj Premi and Ravinder Dhiman were also present on the occasion.In Chamba district, the function was organised at Jhajjha Kothi in Churah constituency presided over by Agriculture Minister Ram Lal Markanda. He said that state government had initiated various schemes in the agriculture sector to help the farmers in increasing their income.The government was providing subsidy of Rs. 85,000 on power tillers and provision had also been made that if farmers suffers losses due to substandard seeds, the concerned company would compensate them.He distributed gas connections, various kinds of certificates, Aadhar cards on this occasion.In all 159 demands and complaints were received in the Jan Manch and most of them were disposed off on the spot.While presiding over the function at Narag in Sirmaur district, Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said that in near future cards would be provided under universal health scheme in the Jan Manch so that people could avail free treatment facility in government and other authorised hospitals.
Besides, the Health department would also organise Medical Board during the Jan Manch where especially abled would be examined and certificates would be given to them.He distributed gas connections to 121 LPG connections and FDs of Rs. 10,000 each to 11 baby girls. More than 450 people were examined in the health camps and 106 Aadhar cards were also distributed.In all 364 cases were received during the programme including 246 demands related to various demands and 118 complaints.MLA Suresh Kashyap was also present in the programme.In Una district, the function was organised in Mandli panchayat of Kutlehar assemble segment which was presided over by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar. He said the government would explore all possibilities to boost natural, adventurous and religious tourism in Govind Sagar lake, Solahsingi Dhar, Ramgarh Dhar etc, areas in Kutlehar constituency. He said efforts were afoot to solve the water crisis in Kutlehar area and work on improvement of Mandli and Ramgarh Dhar drinking water scheme was being carried by spending Rs. 13 crores. He added that Rs. 20 crores detailed project report of Bihadu-Una road had been prepared.As many as 791 complaints and demands were received during the Jan Manch out of which 357 were redressed on the spot. The Minister distributed gas connections to 50 beneficiaries and cheques to 25 girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. The doctors examined 556 persons in the health camps.Industries Minister Bikram Singh while chairing the function at Bagipul in Kullu district said that the youth should come forward to take benefit of Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojana as various subsidies for starting any venture were being given under this scheme. He distributed LPG connections to 167 women, cheques amounting to Rs. 10,000 each to 24 baby girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. People were also provided various types of certificates on the spot and 312 persons turned out for health check up.MLA Kishori Lal Sagar was also present on the occasion.
Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh Thakur chaired the Jan Manch at Garkhal-Sanawar gram Panchayat of Kasauli constituency in Solan district. He urged the officers to reach out to the people for timely redressal of their issues and grievances. He directed the Revenue department to ensure crop inspection in the villages of the area. He asked the National Highways Authority to follow the norms and undertake the cutting work scientifically in the ongoing Parwanoo-Solan four lane works. He also directed to take effective steps to solve the water crisis in Dharampur.270 complaints and demands were received during the Jan Manch. Smart cards, green cards of HRTC, Himachali bonafide and other certificates were distributed on the occasion and 649 persons availed the facility of medical examination in the health camps.MP Virender Kashyap and MLA Paramjeet Singh Pammi were also present in the occasion.In Kinnaur district, Jan Manch was organised at Tapri which was presided over by Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal. Speaking on the occasion he said that Jan Manch had proved to be an effective programme to resolve the grievances and settle various issues of the people nearer to their homes. He said so far more than 500 LPG connections had been distributed in the Kinnaur district.As many as 55 cases were presented in the programme and the Minister directed to redress these cases at the earliest. Besides distributing various certificates, horticulture cards, 114 beneficiaries were given LPG connections. In the health camps, 118 people were examined by the Allopathic and Ayurveda doctors.
