District Development Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar today convened a meeting to review the status of ongoing developmental works executed in pursuance of demands put-forth by various deputations before the Advisors to Governor during their recent public darbars in the district.Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE & PDD, Department, Executive Engineer I &FC and other concerned officers were present at the meeting.The meeting was informed that 132 demands were put forth by different deputations, which includes Establishment of Maternity Hospital, Beautification of Town Pulwama, Improvement of roads and drainage system, Construction of flood protection bunds at different places in the district, Up-gradation of health and various educational institutions etc.It was noted that various demands have been taken up so far, while some demands have been completed, adding all the directions would be fulfilled soon. Similarly, DPRs in respect of various works have been forwarded to various departments for accord of approval.On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon officers to gear up their field functionaries and achieve the desired targets within the stipulated time frame.
