The Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan today felicitated Surendra Kumar, a member of the Indian Hockey team in Asian Games 2018 in which the team won a bronze medal. He is a hockey player who is also working in FCI. Paswan gave his best wishes to Shri Surendra Kumar for a bright future and also gave him a check of Rs five lakh as promotional amount and two post promotions.On this occasion, Union Minister Shri Ram Vilas Paswan asked the officials of the department to encourage the players so that the players could perform better. Upon being felicitated by the Union Minister, Shri Surendra Kumar expressed his happiness and said that today I am feeling very proud of myself.
