Under the able guidance of Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS,DIG Ludhiana Range, Varinder Singh Brar, PPS,SSP Ludhiana (Rural) while addressing press conference stated that under effective supervision of Sh. Tarun Rattan PPS, SP (Investigation) , Ldh Rural, Sh. Amandeep Singh Brar ,PPS, DSP (Investigation),Ldh Rural and Gurmeet Singh ,PPS,DSP Raikot, the police party of SI Simarjit Singh SHO PS Sadar Raikot, Ludhiana (Rural) achieved a huge success when they were able to arrest inter-state gang of robbers who were involved in committing various thefts of shops in various districts of Punjab and chandighar. On 25-08-18, SHO Sadar Raikot received a secret information that Ajay Sharma @Rinku s/o Satish Sharma R/o Purana Thana Ladwa(Haryana) along with his accomplices Vipul Kumar s/o Madan Lal R/o House no.110 ward no 15, Ladwa (Haryana) and Amit Maheshwari@Ballo s/o Vinod Kumar R/o Lal Sadak, Ladwa (Haryana) and some unidentified person who are habitual of committing thefts by breaking shutters of shop in the city areas during night time and steal away articles like LCDs,Laptop,Valuable dothing items etc., are now active in the area of Raikot city, On basis of this information, FIR no. 125 date 25-08-18 u/s 457,380,473,411 IPC PS Sadar Raikot was registered.
The accused persons were then arrested on 27-08-18, the details of which are as follows:
1. Ajay Sharma @Rinku s/o Satish Sharma R/o Purana Thana Ladwa(Haryana)
2. Vipul Kumar s/o Madan Lal R/o House no.110 ward no 15, Ladwa (Haryana),
3. Amit Maheshwari@Ballo s/o Vinod Kumar R/o Lal Sadak, Ladwa (Haryana)

1. 15 LCDs,
2. 13Laptops
3. 7 Batterys
4. 2 Dege
5. Gold ornaments (35gm)
6. Readymade Clothes (18000/Rs)
7. 102000/Rs Cash
That total value of recoverd goods is worth around 25 Lacs. Further investigations are going on to reveal the other crimes committed by these gang members.
