Border people also arranged food stalls at various places and distributed sweets to the people in the rally.Ch. Lal Singh while addressing series of meeting of border area people reiterated his commitment for the border people and assured that he will fight for the plight of the Border Area People till his last breath. He further said that DOGRA SWABHIMAAN SANGATHAN has mentioned this commitment prominently in its vision document which was released on 22nd July 2018 which states that all those benefits which are given to the inhabitants of LOC shall be extended to the people of the international border.

He demanded the compensation on the pattern of SRO-143 for any causality by the firing across the border. He also pledged that DOGRA SWABHIMAAN SANGATHAN will ensure that an alternative residential township is established having all the amenities like school, health center, sports facilities, shopping centers etc. at one place. While referring the Rassana Case in his address to the rally, Lal Singh asserted that J&K Police and other agencies who are investigating the case must come with concrete base for providing the justice to the victim and her family. He said that CBI inquiry is the only a way to solve the case in a transparent manner. Saying that DOGRA SWABHIMAAN SANGATHAN will never tolerate any kind of regional discrimination, Ch Lal Singh said that we will fight for the rights of the Dogras as Jammu and its people suffered a lot and always been neglected since decades by Kashmir centric politicians and successive governments. He gave a clarion call to all the Dogras to march for Jammu on 23rd Sept to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh and to show solidarity with the victims of the Rassana Case and also to serve the final ultimatum to the govt’s both at the state and the center for the burning popular demand for CBI in Rasana Case. There is immediate need to change the mindset of the people of Jammu so that their future can be secure from the clutches of discrimination and regional bias, Lal Singh maintained adding that we will now not remain silent neither accept disgrace and raise free voice for justice.
